ABOUT: She is pierced, dyed and tattooed, born on the wrong side of the tracks. He is a traditional white knight born of the proverbial silver spoon. Their meeting was an accident, the fact that they became even the most tentative of friends, an anomaly. Josh had always walked the line, lived the life he was expected to live. He had, by all accounts, the perfect life; a corporate lawyer, a beautiful home, a family empire to run, and the perfect fiancee. He was well on his way. Until one crazy night when he gave in to his desires…
Hidden Depths was really really good, I just loved it. It’s a love story about a connection between opposites that are not really that opposite. Gia and Blake are two totally different people. Gia is the perky girl, quirky tattoo artist that owns her own shop. Blake is the rich powerful attorney with dark hair and blue eyes and not to mention awesome body. These two have known each other for years, being part of a good circle of long time friends. They never dated, but there had always been a pull and between them, they know how to bicker to no end. Blake has been in a relationship with Deb another part of the circle of friends for sometime, engaged at that. But Blake is sensing a sudden pull to Gia and having less true emotional feelings for Deb. So Blake goes to Gia’s shop and gets a tattoo, something that is not supposed to be in his character at all. He’s drawn to her and just can’t seem to understand the pull… What is it about her that just is driving him crazy… Through the story, the characters connect starting with the ever so simple kiss. Gia tries putting up all kinds of red flags as to why they just can’t be together. She even makes Blake keep their relationship as a couple, secret which works for awhile but then he just can’t take it. However all of their friend have figured it out. This story had amazing heat building sex with a little bit of naughtiness. It was written well and it captivated me and though I love a happy ending, I couldn’t help but wish for more. This is a believable as possible real life love story. Well done Aubrianna Hunter, I look forward to more of your books.
