ABOUT: Picking up where Beautiful Bastard left off, Chloe Mills and Bennett Ryan continue their steamy, combative relationship.
Just when Chloe’s career starts to take off, Bennett wishes it would all slow down long enough to spend a wild night alone with his girlfriend. But after he refuses to take no for an answer, Chloe and Bennett find themselves with two plane tickets, one French Villa, and a surprising conversation that, predictably, leaves them wrestling under the covers.
MARILYN’S REVIEW: Our story of Bennett & Chloe starts where they left off and gives us some back story to what has also happened in the last year. All has not been bliss for our lovers, they’ve fought, they have been kept apart by work. Bennett is opening a new office for Ryan Media Group, which has him traveling for long periods of time. But these issues have made a far gone conclusion slap them in the face of awareness, they no longer want to be apart. They are better together and miss each other terribly when not together. We have a short / novella type of story here, and leads us to a much deserved vacation for Bennett & Chloe in France. Nice place to rip up some La Perla panties and have hot and steamy love making. Bennett asks Max, his English mate (Beautiful Stranger), to borrow his villa there in Provence. It take a couple planes delays, because nothing ever goes smoothly for Bennett & Chloe but they finally do get to have a vacation Together, that has been long time coming. With impending move to New York this private time together is valued and they see that there is nothing but future together for them forever…Bennett has one last thing unfinished business need he still needs a finance person for the New York Office, hmmm could Sara (Beautiful Stranger) be that person, Chloe hopes so… Our authors did us proud and hands down have a long career and partnership going. Kudos ladies.

Beside Your Heart is about high schooler Nicki Johnson plays with emotional fire and Googles her high school love, only to find his name splashed across the British tabloids. Now back in his native England, Adam Kincaid is successful. involved with a an aristocratic family background. Mow havinga career in politics, Nicki’s no slouch, but she knows Adam is living a world away from her life. There’d been a time he was no farther than the next locker. Nicki will never forget their year together or the year of her sister’s death being that they are one in the same. Adam helped Nicki through suffocating grief, and she led him through coming of age. But what happens next…
MARILYN’S REVIEW: I had the opportunity to read “Beside Your Heart” as an ARC. I started reading this book Friday and finished it the same day. With major issues going on in my state with fires, Mary’s book being so very emotional, I was able to read and get so into the story and even release some tears which was very cathartic to what was going on in real life as well as in “Beside Your Heart.” Nicki and Adam are the main characters and their story is perfectly precious. It has a heart aching backstory, with the death of one of there family members. Mary writes past and present perfectly. With a prologue in present tense, leading to the ending with the what could be, the balancing was remarkable and most definitely makes you want more and there surely could be as well as sub-storylines for potentially more books. She left us hanging just right that she could continue but doesn’t have to. But I can say, I want More and SOON. LOL. The story is perfectly what High School love is; with young lover, ignorance to true feelings, anguish and heartache, all things you remember from your own time there. Loss of life is a huge impact of this story and dealing with death and even guilt of living. Nicki is a young Texas girl that has had an enormous loss of her younger sister in a car accident that she managed to survive. Adam is a student from England for the year.
Mary encompasses everything, current girls, friendship, how you really feel, why you feel so strong, how we have only so much time, first sexual experience; it’s just rounded perfectly.
I read this in one day and just adored it. Well done Mary I so look forward to more of your stories.

ALEXANDRIA’S REVIEW: One of the best books I have read in a very long time. It had everything. Sky and Holder are perfect together and their relationship is one that has many pieces to its puzzle that seem to be scattered throughout the book in a beautiful way. I read this in a few hours…unable to put it down. I laughed…I cried and I felt. Which is amazing. Can’t wait to read more! Beautiful.

ABOUT: Whip-smart, hardworking, and on her way to an MBA, Chloe Mills has only one problem: her boss, Bennett Ryan. He’s exacting, blunt, inconsiderate–and completely irresistible. A Beautiful Bastard.
Bennett has returned to Chicago from France to take a vital role in his family’s massive media business. He never expected that the assistant who’d been helping him from abroad was the gorgeous, innocently provocative–completely infuriating–creature he now has to see every day. Despite the rumors, he’s never been one for a workplace hookup. But Chloe’s so tempting he’s willing to bend the rules–or outright smash them–if it means he can have her. All over the office. As their appetites for one another increase to a breaking point, Bennett and Chloe must decide exactly what they’re willing to lose in order to win each other.
MARILYN’S REVIEW: BB was beyond fantastic! It was breathtaking and I couldn’t put the book down,.The story was gripping and I kept trying to figure out what would happen next. Where was the next sex spot going to be? Is Bennett going to change and does he realize he’s changing and developing actual feelings for Chloe? Is he even open to a real relationship? Chloe is also the same as him; she can’t stay away and she has the physical lust attraction that is just overwhelming. They must be physically be connected. The panties part is just hilarous, conquest trophies so to speak, but a Need for Bennet, he has a momento of every luscious moment with Chloe. I think this story is so much better then FSOG, you can see it’s not written based on another story (Twilight) with just sex added. It’s in its own league and truly just better because of that I want more…

Torn between a voice of reason and her undeniable feelings, Sydney begins to question just what is hiding behind her lover’s decorated uniform. What secrets are hidden behind his Purple Heart? And does she really want to know?
Marilyn’s Review: The Purple Heart has a military theme and having worked at The Air Force Academy in Colorado, I am an everyday person that was, with great pride, given the opportunity to observe the military world. ‘The Purple Heart was an honor to read and connect with. It’s a truly amazingly heartfelt story and makes you see that fate happens; destiny and love at first sight is possible. It’s emotionally gripping. I couldn’t put it down, I had to finish and know the end. I can say I’ve almost never cried with a book but The Purple Heart was a definite tearjerker. I feel it’s a story that needs to be told because I believe that this truly happens in real life. With military and everyday people, weird things JUST happen sometimes. I could NEVER recommended this book enough. This story MUST, MUST be a movie.
This happens in real life. If you believe in fate, read it. If you believe all things happen for a reason, read it. If you have any connection with the military, read it. If you believe in true one of a kind love, read It. You will be so glad that you did. The Purple Heart will leave a mark on your heart, I have no doubt!
VERDICT: Stories of any kind of PTSD need to be told!!
